Datacenters, AI, and Immersive Content

Adeia is an R&D company focused in media, entertainment, and semiconductors. I led a research and marketing campaign as a custom consulting engagement analyzing two segments: the relationship between immersive devices and datacenters, and the compute and processing requirements for XR devices and how AI will impact this.

This campaign included original primary research on total datacenter compute capacity, how compute requirements differ based on type of content (resolution, framerate, spatial data), latency requirements for real time content compute and streaming, and how AI can be used to improve both quality and efficiency of compute.

The campaign brough attention to some of Adeia’s original case studies, research, and product development, as well as the company’s partners and customers. The whitepapers and associated social shares received thousands of hits.
